What is Infant Crisis Services?

Infant Crisis Services is an emergency food and diaper pantry that provides formula, food, diapers, and other basic necessities for babies and toddlers whose families are in crisis. Our agency serves more than 1,300 babies and toddlers each month with our core values of love, respect, and kindness. Our arms are open to any family in need and our mission is that no baby should go hungry.

My story

I am so grateful to be a part of this organization. I have been coming to Infant Crisis Services for as long as I can remember. When I was a toddler, I remember coming with my mom to her committee meetings, because she had volunteered for years. I remember volunteering with my Girl Scout troop. I remember helping sort donations from the Just Between Friends Sale every year. I could not wait for the day that I would be old enough to apply for the Teen Board.

Why should I donate?

One in every four children in Oklahoma live in poverty, meaning their family cannot provide the nutrition that they need to develop properly. Babies and toddlers who are malnourished often suffer lasting behavioral and cognitive deficits. Even one missed meal may have a negative effect on a child leaving them with educational difficulties that they can never overcome. Since it began, the Infant Crisis Services Teen Associate Board has raised over $970,000 - with your help, we can cross the $1 million mark this year! Every donation, large or small, goes a long way. When you contribute to Infant Crisis Services, you're not only providing babies and toddlers with a full tummy and a dry diaper - you're also improving their future. You are the reason that these babies have the opportunity to become healthy, happy, and successful citizens.
