We can feed and diaper the babies and toddlers of Oklahoma

Hello, my name is Harper Barlow. I am a Junior at Yukon High School where I participate on the Varsity Cross Country, Swim and Track teams, am a member of Student Council and the Yu-Can Coalition and NHS

I first became interested in helping Infant Crisis Services through my schools "Strengthen Their Start" program where we raise in-kind donations such as diapers, wipes and baby wash. This summer, I was selected to be a part of the ICS Teen Summer program and I was given a goal of raising 1000 diapers. In brainstorming ways to fulfill this donation, I came up with the idea to sell my artwork to raise money for these diapers. Over the summer, I painted and created many pieces of artwork for this program, which I named "Create for a Cause". The response from family, friends and strangers was overwhelming, as I was able to donate 5,400 diapers and 8,800 wipes with just the money I raised.
